At long last, the beautiful Jewel joined us today at the Sanctuary. Tired after a long drive from northern Oregon, Jewel happily came out of her trailer and found her dinner in her new stall. Jewel has had a long and difficult path, but thanks to Liz has finally made her way to her forever home. Jewel spent her first full day relaxing with Liz getting to know the Sanctuary. Soon Jewel will begin her integration into her new herd and environment. But for today, we are just happy she is finally here!
