Making a Case for Lost Causes. This issue of the NeighSaver celebrates the accomplishments your support of Equamore Foundation made possible in 2013. It also makes a case for your continued support in 2014 and the coming years.

Why Equamore? Equamore is a unique horse rescue: unique in our commitment to our horses; in the exemplary horse care we model; and in the way we fight for those causes most worth fighting for.

Why Now? Equamore Sanctuary remains one of the few Oregon refuges with the facilities, training, and willingness to help unwanted and difficult horses. But money has been tight this summer, and we’re fast running out of room and options

Three Very Big Rescues: This summer the Equamore Foundation helped to convince an owner to surrender a number of Percheron stallions and mares living a nightmare existence in northern California.

Re-Introducing Horse Rescue Teams: This holiday season, Equamore Foundation invites its donors to create or join a virtual Horse Rescue Team, using the power of the Internet’s social networking sites to provide sanctuary for one of the aged, neglected, or abused horses at the Equamore Sancruary.

Equamore’s Commitment: Equamore Foundation celebrates hope and renewal every time we give a horse sanctuary.
