She lives up to the “Top Model” part of her name, but “Crazy,” she isn’t.
Maude has the most wonderful, kind, and agreeable temperament of any horse ever to grace the Sanctuary. She is beautiful in every sense of the word.
At the very young age of fourteen, after a short but successful career in show jumping, Maude’s caring and devoted owner has permanently retired Maude because of a lameness issue in one of her hocks.
Maude is stalled next to her good friend, Sugar, and turned out into the couple’s field for exercising and socializing with a sizable herd of pasture mates during the day.
