Leah was purchased by a couple from a breeding ranch in the Eugene, Oregon area in 2003 when she was six years old. They all moved to Sutherlin in 2021.
She had one foal – a filly named Tazo. Tazo was sold when she was approximately five years of age.
Leah was the wife’s main riding horse and received some quality training from her owner while enjoying not only the wild, remote forest lands of Northeast Washington, but later the Bend area when they moved to Bend, and then the Southern Oregon area after their final move to Ashland.
At the end of 2024 Leah (age thirty) was retired with her companion horse, Moccasin, at the Equamore Sanctuary.
