The humans at the Sanctuary hosted a “horse show”. I believe it was some kind of competition. A lot of horses that don’t live at the Sanctuary came along with their humans. All the visiting horses had obviously been seriously groomed by humans – braided tails and manes, coats unusually shiny. Even the humans were dressed up. Good grief. I prefer being groomed by another horse – just get the bugs off. The “show” was silly – horses one by one going around and around in circles with a person on their back while other humans watched. All the humans, and even the horses, seemed to enjoy themselves, but somehow I have missed the point.
I have a great idea!! Maybe I can get the other Equamore horses to put on a human show! We could get some serious excitement going. We could bring in some visiting humans (I don’t want to irritate the Equamore people or the treats could dry up). We can give the humans silly hair styles, have them carry the barn cats on their backs and chase them around in circles! The winning cat will get a stale treat to feed the humans! Ha! I love this! Hoover would be so proud!
Of course I will be the judge. The rules for the humans (as best I can tell from the “horse show”) will be: no biting or kicking other humans or the cats; no pooping while running in circles; and, do not eject the cat from your back. Simple enough – what could go wrong?
This could work! The Equamore horses own this place, so we should have a say in the entertainment. And what a hoot for the all the horses to watch! I am going to get right on this…
Oh yeah, Thor is the bomb.
I am Thor and I am an Equamore horse.
