In 2008 Equamore Foundation created the Oregon Hay Bank to give a helping hand to horse owners in temporary financial crises. The bank stockpiles two kinds of hay: the kind that grows on the ground and the kind that doesn’t grow on trees. OHB is proof positive that a small number of concerned, motivated people can make a difference for those who encounter temporary financial difficulties.

Meet Equamore’s horses: Hazel

Hazel was first rescued from an elderly woman in Williams, Oregon, and brought to a new home in Grants Pass. Raffie arrived at the Equamore sanctuary in September of 2012 after Jackson County investigated a report of two neglected horses.
