Moccasin was purchased by a married couple from an owner in Bend, Oregon in late 2016 when Moccasin was twenty-one years of age and later moved to Ashland.
She was the husband’s trail horse for eight years and considered part of the family. This wonderful mare clearly had quality care and kind, thoughtful training before her retirement at the Equamore Sanctuary at the age of thirty along with her companion horse, Leah.
